I was raised in a place called Biloela, Queensland, Australia. It was a mining community one and a half hours drive inland from the coast. It was small and nothing much to do. At sixteen I joined the navy and from their fell in love with my first guitar. I have loved music many years before hand. It has made me feel anything I needed at the time I needed it. Music has got me through a lot of stuff good and bad. But I kinda sucked when I first picked it up so I had to practise:-)
So there I was in the navy gaining a trade in aviation. Fuck knows how I did it, but walked away unscathed with many a story that I keep pretty quiet these days. I had many good mates there. But it was not meant to be so I decided to leave after minimum time and try other things to figure out what I needed to do. So off to Brisvegas with my sorry ass and studied some more for work and played some more for fun. This bit of my life for the next five years was a bit of a blur cause I struggled to figure out where to go and what to do. Toowoomba, United Kingdom, Sunshine Coast, Bundaburg, Tannum Sands, Canberra etc were just some places I lived in. It was hard to get better qualifications with work cause the forces had a bad reputation in civilian street for supplying qualified people. So I tried very hard to learn more about aviation as much as I could to be more employable. Well, it must have paid off cause I secured a good job and life style in Darwin NT. Where I am currently.
Over this entire course of events that I can't simply place in a paragraph I still played my music which has been all original and sounded good to my ears at least. I have been very fortunate to play with some awesome characters in their own special and unique way. Unfortunately with work I have always found myself unreliable with sticking around for bands. It took me many bands to figure that one out but have met some talented muso's. They have taught me so much about making a tune and myself. I am still learning from them.
Currently I have just one album. I did play every instrument on the entire piece which is why it takes a while to make one. I'm trying to give it a better album design, something a little more personal. But it is available via Itunes or from this website. I'm pretty proud of it for my first attempt and am also making another set of songs which should be finished shortly. More video clips will be coming as well.
